Notification of Changes to GSWS Managed IT Client Services

To all valued GSWS Managed IT Clients,

It has always been the mission of GSWS to provide our clients with the absolute best level of service and support we possibly can. Within the Managed IT Division, the team of Nathan, Bill, Natalie and Derek have been nothing short of phenomenal in turning this idea into reality for several years. I couldn’t be more proud and grateful for all of their accomplishments.

Unfortunately, this great run has come to an end. Our Senior Engineer Bill Hammond is relocating to TX. Bill has been a unicorn for GSWS; working his magic each day, and making everyone the better for it. While it hurts to say goodbye, we wish him and his wife nothing but the best in the next chapter of their lives. He will be missed, but the memories will be cherished forever.

HOW DOES ONE REPLACE A UNICORN?
It’s not easy, and when you have 1 week (Bill will be working his final week remotely, from TX) to make the right decision that impacts the business continuity of each client, it is not an easy task J

After exploring every option, we ultimately felt the best option for our clients was to partner up with Crown Computers. Sean Goss (owner of Crown Computers) and Nathan have 12 years history of working together on various clients and projects. Their culture, methodology, abilities are very similar to what you’ve become accustomed to GSWS and best of all – they have a staff of 7 full-time employees that will begin providing GSWS transition and backup services beginning this Monday. Additionally, as part of the transition, Derek Hughes will begin working for Crown Computers.

In alignment with our mission, it was important that you and your organization continue to receive the absolute best level of service and support possible. In taking these steps, we believe we have accomplished that. The decision was made fast, but it wasn’t quick.

For now, there is nothing different for you to do – continue to request service as you have. The goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible on your end. We will be reaching out to everyone on an individual basis over the couple of days. We want to make introductions, discuss the specifics of your account and answer any/all questions I’m sure you have.

WHAT ABOUT GSWS?
We aren’t going anywhere. While the Managed IT Division has been purring along these past few years, we’ve been developing our expertise in Cybersecurity and Compliance fields. We still offer everything else you see on our website (Cybersecurity & Compliance, Hosting, Web Development) and we can discuss in better detail when we speak in person.
